Honored to be in dialog with the impossible urgent conversation of AI through the framework of history–from narrative, truth, world making to labor and learning ecosystems. Thank you to my co-panelists David Myers, Toby Higbie, Saadia Gabriel, and Todd Presner and the Wende Museum community for the privilege of collectively working through and past the doomer or boomer debate into a critical community process of understanding and shaping AI technologies. Had a chance to walk through the three urgencies of technology society is dealing with (acceleration, distancing, and global political economy) that have been on my mind and shaped much of my dreaming to create Culture Futures “Rest” Lab” (more on that soon)!
